Ongoing Limited Guarantee for Perimeter Prime Program (Including Bed Bugs and German Cockroaches)
Initial Inspection and Treatment:
The initial Perimeter Prime service includes a thorough inspection for signs of bed bugs and German cockroaches. If either of these pests is not detected during the initial inspection, the following ongoing limited guarantee applies:
Ongoing Limited Guarantee Coverage - Setting a New Standard for Pest Protection
- Continuous Coverage: As long as the Perimeter Prime service is active and payments are current, we offer ongoing limited coverage for bed bugs and German cockroaches. This means that if a new infestation of these pests develops after the initial inspection, the following process will be followed.
Exclusions and Limitations:
This ongoing limited guarantee does not cover:
- Pre-existing Infestations: This guarantee does not apply if bed bugs or German cockroaches were present at the time of the initial inspection. In such cases, a separate proposal outlining specialized treatment options and costs will be provided.
- Re-infestations Due to Neglect: This guarantee does not cover re-infestations that are demonstrably caused by homeowner neglect, such as the introduction of infested items, unsanitary conditions, or failure to address structural issues that contribute to pest problems.
- Infestations in Untreated Areas: This guarantee applies only to the areas covered by the Perimeter Prime service.
- Failure to Report Promptly: The homeowner must notify us in writing within 72 hours of discovering any suspected bed bug or German cockroach activity.
- Homeowner Cooperation: Effective treatment often requires homeowner cooperation, such as decluttering, laundering bedding, and vacuuming. Failure to follow our reasonable recommendations may affect coverage.
Treatment Process (If Guarantee Applies):
If a new infestation of bed bugs or German cockroaches is reported and confirmed, we will:
- Conduct a follow-up inspection to confirm the presence of live bed bugs or German cockroaches and determine the extent of the infestation.
- Provide a targeted treatment, which may include specialized methods beyond the standard Perimeter Prime service. The cost of the initial treatment for a new infestation will be covered at 50% by this guarantee. The homeowner is responsible for the remaining 50% of the treatment cost.
- Provide recommendations for homeowner preparation to maximize treatment effectiveness.
Ongoing Prevention and Maintenance:
While this ongoing limited guarantee addresses new infestations of bed bugs and German cockroaches, ongoing prevention is key to long-term control. Regular Perimeter Prime service, including exterior treatments, plays a crucial role in preventing these pests from establishing themselves. We can also recommend additional preventative measures and offer ongoing maintenance programs to minimize the risk of future infestations. These additional preventative services are separate from the core Perimeter Prime service and are not explicitly included in this limited guarantee, though they contribute to the overall goal of pest prevention.
